Marine Monochrome
/ Navy & Fluted Glass Architectural Kitchen
This Vancouver residence breaks from tradition with a stunning monochromatic "Marine" palette. By finishing both the base and full-height cabinetry in the same deep navy tone, we created a seamless, architectural look that allows the room's premium details to take center stage. The L-shaped configuration maximizes the workspace, while the deep blue surfaces serve as a sophisticated backdrop for the home’s warm wood flooring.
The defining luxury features of this project are the fluted glass cabinet doors framed in refined brass. These textured glass uppers provide a rhythmic visual interest, obscuring clutter while catching the light to create a soft, shimmering effect. Paired with minimalist brass hardware and bright quartz countertops, the design strikes a perfect balance between "Quiet Luxury" and bold, modern character.
Inside, the experience is just as refined; we utilized Blum soft-close systems to ensure the kitchen functions with the same quiet precision it displays visually. Precision-integrated LED channels are recessed behind the fluted glass and under the upper cabinetry to provide a seamless warm glow without visible fixtures. With integrated appliances and bespoke brass accents, the space remains streamlined, allowing the conversation between the deep navy and textured glass to take center stage.
